Karriema has a background in writing and developed a passion for resume writing while navigating her career path and helping many of her family members and friends with their resumes.

From a degree in Journalism & Mass Communications to a full-time career in Information Technology, Karriema has rebranded herself many times to position for success and career advancement. As she began revamping resumes, she noticed people were landing interviews, job offers and even promotions. After nearly a decade of having writing/editing as a hobby, she decided to launch a business tied to her passion.

Through Copy by KC, Karriema seeks to make genuine connections to help clients achieve their goals. She's a career negotiator who has served clients all over the world, in various industries, with resume writing and career coaching. Karriema's expertise has helped clients increase their salaries and total compensation by over $2.3 million since 2020.
